  • Dr. Kristyn Gardner

    Dr. Kristyn Hunter

    Kristyn joined the practice in 2010 after graduating from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has previous experience with the 'reptile guru' - Dr. Mader, in the Florida Keys. She also studied at an exclusive exotic animal hospital in Washington DC and worked for an exotic animal specialty hospital prior to veterinary school.

    Pets and Family: Matt (Husband), Bug-a-boo and Lena (pit bulls), Scooby (cat), Lex Luthor (yellow morph ball python), Gertie (crested gecko), Portia and Cinna (leopard geckos), Willy (rabbit) and Tina (tortoise)

    Hobbies: Anything to do with Michigan State University and sports! Playing and watching basketball, volleyball, softball, football, and bowling. Loves reading and checking out antique shops.

    Valerie joined the practice in 1997.

    Pets and Family: John (Husband), Griffin (chocolate lab), and Squirt and Bombay (cats).

    Hobbies: Skiing, hiking, kayaking, geocaching, and reading. 

  • Taylor

    Taylor joined the practice in 2015 after graduating from Brown Mackie College with a degree in Veterinary Technology.

    Pets:  Dogs - Daryl D. Justice (chocolate Lab), Bentley (Shepherd/lab mix), Maya (Shepherd/Beagle mix), and Shania (Shetland sheepdog). Cats - Rusty, Roscoe, Lexy, and Boozer.  Horses - Mister, Patriot, and Bullet.  Goats- Gunner and Peanut.

    Hobbies: Horseback riding, organizing a charity breast cancer horseback ride (Ride for a cure) annually, showing draft horses at the county fair, playing softball, riding quads, and spending time with family, friends, and boyfriend.

    Megan joined the practice in 2017.

    Pets and Family: Jake(husband), Tommy(son), Chewbacca(Aussie mix),
    Leviathon(cat).

    Hobbies: reading, hiking, and fostering.

  • Butch

    Butch joined the practice in 2017.

    He is our official greeter, ultrasound tech, HR, and mouse assassin.
